Support that holds your whole family
Play therapy supports your child, but the benefits reach far wider.
At Healing Hearts Play Therapy, the care you receive is designed for your child, for you, and for your family as a whole.
Play therapy gives children a safe space to express feelings they cannot yet explain. Children use play, art, stories and sensory experiences to show what is happening inside and to work through worries in a gentle and natural way.
Sessions are child led. Your child chooses how to play while the therapist offers emotional safety, attunement and steady guidance. This helps children build confidence, understand their feelings and develop stronger emotional regulation.
What is Play Therapy?
Play therapy uses the natural language of play to help children express emotions, process experiences and build new skills. Sessions may include:
imaginative play
stories and symbolic play
art and creative expression
sensory experiences like sand, water or movement
nurturing, relational play
These approaches allow children to explore difficult feelings safely and gain a sense of control, confidence and emotional understanding.
