Support that is clear, simple and tailored to your family

Choosing support for your child can feel like a big step.

Take your time.

You don’t have to decide everything at once.

These services show you the support available and what each appointment involves. If you’re unsure what to book, a conversation can help you choose what feels right.

Every family is different, so the options stay flexible and shaped around your needs. They guide you through the process and help you understand what working together may look like.

If you’re unsure where to start, we’re here to help. You’re welcome to contact us for a free, no‑obligation chat.

What are the stages?

Every journey begins with a parent consultation so we can understand your child and choose the right direction together. I usually recommend at least 12 sessions once therapy starts, as this gives children the time they need to settle and make real progress. Every child is different, so the approach is always shaped around their needs.

  • A conversation that explores your child’s history, relationships, strengths and any challenges you have noticed.

  • Two to three sessions of child‑led play observation in a safe and supportive space.

  • A clear, non‑diagnostic overview that explains what your child’s play is telling us. You will receive recommendations and the chance to talk through the next steps.

  • Practical strategies and guidance that help you understand how to support your child and move forward with confidence.

Purpose of the Assessment

The assessment gives parents quick initial feedback and helps us understand what support will be most helpful. It guides the creation of a tailored plan that fits each child’s needs. Some children may benefit from six sessions, others from twelve or twenty four. It depends on each individual circumstance.

Whatever the plan looks like, both the child and family are supported throughout. Starting with an assessment ensures the right approach is in place from the very beginning.
